Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and create unique textile designs for our ethnic industry that appeal to our target audience
- Research and stay up to date with the latest trends and styles in the textile industry
- Work closely with the production team to ensure that designs are translated into high-quality finished products
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually appealing and effective product presentations
- Maintain accurate records of all designs, including sketches, technical specifications, and color swatches
- Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay informed about the latest market trends and to network with other professionals in the industry
- Work within tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ensure that all designs meet the company's quality standards and are in line with the company's brand image
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Design or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in textile design, preferably in the ethnic industry
- Strong knowledge of traditional and ethnic textile designs and techniques
- Excellent creativity and artistic ability
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and design techniques.
