In this program, you have the opportunity to
Do your part-time internship within the Order Fulfillment department, and be supported in developing business skills, including practical communication skills, business acumen, time management, Microsoft Office, and much more. The exposure to the different functional areas will enable the development of skills and abilities that drives value for both Philips and our customers.
You will use your language skills on a daily basis while cooperating with our partners across European markets. After those 6 months you will be not only perfectly prepared for the role of Trainee, but as well, in the case of exceptional performance, for the regular, junior position.
What is Order Fulfillment?
The team coordinates the entire order delivery process placed by Key Markets through pro-active collaboration with other Supply Chain functions such as Catalogue Management, Finance, Planning, Shipping, Project Management, Sales and others.
Order Fulfillment Team, which belongs to Health System (HS) products department within Philips Supply Chain Management structures. In our Philips HS portfolio, you can find our well-known products such as cardio monitors, ultrasound, respirators, defibrillators and diagnostic imaging equipment. Our customers are the most innovative hospitals around the world.
The GBS ACADEMY consists of
New Employee Orientation Program
6-12 weeks of functional training
Targeted learning focused on soft skills tailored to the needs of Young Professionals (such as Personal and career development, Business writing, Presenting with impact, Communication and storytelling)
Career coaching and professional development tools
Networking opportunities
You are responsible for
Management of sales orders
Process order activities in SAP and other supporting applications
Support Order Management team in daily operations
Preparing daily meetings (lean daily management boards)
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Student of at least 2nd year of studies
Availability to work 30-40h/ week
Fluent English written and spoken (at least B2)
Computer literacy (MS Windows, MS Office) is essential
Good numerical ability and analytical skills
Experience in supply chain or management will be an asset
Engaged, motivated, ambitious, eager to learn and develop new skills and knowledge
Problem-solving and result-oriented approach
